    Ask Justin: Pick of the properties 2022

    Looking back over 2022, we’ve had the privilege of marketing some cracking properties for our clients. From luxury homes to brilliant investment prospects, here’s a round-up of some of the best.     Luxury home – Grey Gables

    When we were instructed to sell this historic property, we knew we were offering a rare opportunity to own part of England’s rich Arts and Crafts heritage.

    Grey Gables combines a unique architectural history with outstanding, luxury, contemporary finishes and fixtures with no expense spared. This property sold for a Vision Properties record of just under £3.5 million, making it a clear winner for our best luxury home of 2022.

    First time buy – Dell Farm Close, Knowle

    This house in Dell Farm Close, Knowle, sold earlier this year for £275,000. Its position in an attractive courtyard development just a short walk from Knowle High Street, the park and the excellent local schools made it a great choice for anyone looking for a first-time buy or a home for a young family.

    Investment property – Libbards House, Monkspath

    As residential letting specialists, we’re always on the lookout for investment properties for our landlords. This two-bedroom, ground floor apartment in a beautiful, Georgian, Grade II listed building, just a short walk from Widney Manor Train Station ticks all the boxes.

    The property is packed full of original features, including sash windows, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams and has been renovated to a high standard with tenants’ requirements in mind, making it the winning investment property this year.

    Back in June we marketed this much-loved detached house, which had been home to our client for more than 70 years. We knew it would be a popular property, but we were blown away by the response from buyers looking for a renovation project in ever-popular Wythall.

This property was crying out for a new owner to make a wonderful home that will maximise the picturesque location.
